Mar Mound Red Clay

Mar Mound clay is one of the finest materials available for building pitchers mounds and for constructing home plate areas. We keep a concrete bunker of up to 75 ton of the material on hand. We keep the material covered with plastic which keeps the material fresh and just the right moisture.

New Warehouse completed fall of 2009
75 ton capacity Mar Mound bunker with plastic covering.

The most economical way to purchase Mar Mound is in bulk.  We load trucks and trailers with a loader and have a truck scales on our property.  We can load out precise quantities in this fashion.  We also have Mar Mound clay available in 5¼ gallon buckets which weighs 60 pounds and we carry Mar Mound clay in 50 lb. bags.
We have found that many customers prefer the buckets.  These they can carry out to the mound to do repair work.  When they are finished they can put the lid back on the bucket and it keeps the material fresh.  Using from buckets keeps the clay from drying out as it tends to do using bagged material.  We also credit customers for the buckets and lids they return.
Bulk Mar Mound Clay pickup up in Walton is $155. per ton.
